Fusilli with vegan pea cream

For 2 people Preparation time: 10 min cooking time:15 min

Ingrédients

  • 200 g of raw fusilli
  • 1 handful of frozen peas
  • 20 cashew nuts
  • 50 ml of hot water
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta al dente according to the direction on the packet
  2. During this time cook in boiling salted water the peas for 8 minutes.
  3. Drain the peas and place them in the bowl of a mixer.
  4. Add the cashews and hot water.
  5. Add Salt and pepper and mix all until obtaining a peas cream.
  6. Drain the pasta and put back in the pan.
  7. Add 2/3 of the cream and stir all together over soft fire.
  8. Serve in 2 bowls and add a large spoon of cream of peas on each bowls.
