Hasselback potatoes (Swedish potatoes)

For 4 people Preparation time: 5 minutes, cooking time: 30 to 40 minutes


  • 8 to 12 potatoes
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ┬░ C.
  2. Wash the potatoes.
  3. Cut the potatoes across the width at regular intervals, making sure to keep each potato.
  4. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet or a baking dish.
  5. Brush the potatoes with olive oil using a brush or olive oil spray.
  6. Sprinkle each potato with salt and pepper (and other herbs and spices if you want).
  7. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown.
